Find Out Where To Buy Bharat Atta; It Is Much Cheaper Than The Market Rate

To relieve consumers from rising wheat prices, the Central Government has started selling wheat flour at a concessional rate of Rs 27.50 per kg under the Bharat Atta brand name nationwide before Diwali.

According to the PTI report, Bharat Atta will be sold through cooperative societies NAFED, NCCF and Kendriya Bhandar through 800 mobile vans and 2,000 outlets. Bharat Atta will be available cheaply depending on quality and location, much lower than the current market rate of Rs 36-70 per kg.

In February this year, the Center conducted a pilot sale of 18,000 tonnes of Bharat Atta at Rs 29.50 per kg through these cooperative societies in some shops as part of the Price Containment Fund Scheme. Union Food and Consumer Affairs Minister Piyush Goyal who flagged off 100 mobile vans of Bharat Atta. He said that now that we have tested and been successful, we have decided to launch formally so that this flour can be available everywhere in the country.

The minister said that about 2.5 lakh tonnes of wheat will be allocated from the Food Corporation of India (FCI) to NAFED, NCCF and Kendriya Bhandar at Rs 21.50 per kg. They will convert it into wheat flour and sell it under the Bharat Atta brand at Rs 27.50 per kg. This will help increase wheat flour availability and curb the rates.

You must go to any mobile van or shop to buy Bharat Atta. There, you will have to show your ration card. After showing the ration card, you can buy flour. The government has used more than 800 mobile vans and more than 2,000 shops to increase sales of Bharat Atta. This initiative aims to ensure that a large population can benefit.
