There is a plan to run Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat trains from Raxaul to Kolkata. Due to the direct line from Raxaul to Kolkata, this proposal was earlier sent by the Divisional Railway Manager of the Samastipur Division, Vinay Srivastava, to the Railway Board and the Ministry of Railways through the East Central Railway Headquarters.
Now it will get the green signal. Previously, the exercise to repair the overhead contact and connect wire (OHE) for electricity had begun. Its preparation is going on in full swing. A state-of-the-art washing pit will also be constructed there. Along with this, preparations are also going on to build a state-of-the-art washing pit in Saharsa.
Currently, a tender of Rs 65 lakh has been issued for replacing overhead equipment (OHE) at Raxaul. Six months will be given to prepare it. The estimated cost of the work is Rs 65,03,720.66. The tender will be placed through e-tender. For this, an advance of Rs 1,30,100 will have to be paid.
The tender will close on June 16 at noon. After that, the e-tender will open at 12:30. Details of the website from which detailed information about the tender and the tender form can be obtained are available. You can tender on http://www.ireps.gov.in. If any amendment or change is made to this work, its information will be uploaded directly to the website, rather than being published in newspapers.
Please note that the first Amrit Bharat train was operated in the Samastipur Railway Division of the East Central Railway. On January 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the train from Ayodhya to Darbhanga on the occasion of Pran Pratishtha of Lord Ram. A large number of people from Lord Ram’s in-laws’ Janakpur Dham went to have refreshments and other amenities there.
Apart from saints and sages, women who made Madhubani paintings also came from there. The Prime Minister met all the people. After that, the first Vande Bharat train was given in the said division. The second Namo Bharat train in the country has also been given to the Samastipur Railway Division. Following this, the Samastipur Railway Division has continued to move forward in the East Central Railway area.
