Good News For Bihar Women, Nitish Kumar To Send ₹10,000 To 25 Lakh Beneficiaries

Chief Minister Mahila Rojgar Yojana: Good news for 2.5 million women in Bihar. Under the Chief Minister Mahila Rojgar Yojana, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will disburse 10,000 rupees to 2.5 million women on February 16th. A total of 2,500 crore rupees will be transferred to beneficiaries’ bank accounts through DBT.

Programs to be held at district headquarters

According to information, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will transfer the funds via video conferencing at 9:45 am. Programs will also be organised at the district, block, cluster, and village organisation levels. District-level programs will be held in all 38 district headquarters, chaired by the District Magistrate.

To enable women in Bihar to become self-dependent and start their own businesses, assistance is being provided under the Chief Minister Mahila Rojgar Yojana. Initially, women will be given 10,000 rupees. After this, the government will also provide 2 lakh rupees each. In the first phase, 10,000 rupees were given. In the second phase, women will receive 20,000 rupees; in the third, 40,000 rupees; in the fourth, 80,000 rupees; and in the fifth and final phase, 60,000 rupees.

An assessment will be conducted before disbursing 2 lakh rupees.

According to information, the use of the 10,000 rupees given in the first phase will be assessed. This responsibility will be of the village organisation. It will be assessed whether a shop or business was started with the money. It will also be assessed how much interest in the business is being shown. The village organisation will send the report to the block level. Based on this, a decision will be made on the release of further funds. Before this, the process of disbursing 10,000 rupees each was being completed.
