Google Bard: What Is Google’s New AI Bard? Will Chat Be Able To Compete With GPT?

Google Bard AI: Google has finally launched its AI technology, Bard. Bard has explicitly been found to compete with OpenAI’s popular language model ChatGPT-3. Google CEO Sundar Pichai gave this information in an official blog post. Pichai has described Bard as a conversational AI service that can simplify difficult things apart from providing high-quality responses.

The company has currently made Bard available to some testers. And Google plans to launch this AI Tool for familiar people worldwide in the coming days.

Bard Is Similar To ChatGPT.

In a blog post describing Bard’s potential, Pichai wrote, Bard will be an outlet for creativity, a launchpad to answer your questions and help clarify new things. From taking information about the best striker in football to enhancing your skills, you can do something like this.

All of Bard’s abilities are yet to be revealed. That is, it is not yet known what work can be done through Bard. But it looks like this chatbot will be similar to OpenAI’s ChatGPT. A screenshot shows users can ask Bard practical questions like how to organize a baby shower or what’s for lunch. Apart from this, what ingredients are used in a recipe? Such questions can be known.

Bard Will Give The Latest Information Compared To ChatGPT.

However, Pichai says Bard informs users by finding the latest, high-quality answers across the web. This means that Google’s latest AI tool can give users information about the latest events. Let us tell you that ChatGPT usually provides the data with details till 2021 correctly, and it has difficulty regarding the newest info. This is because ChatGPT has been trained on data till 2021.

Bard is powered by LaMDA (Language Model for Dialogue Applications), developed by Google. LaMDA is a Convolutional Neural Language Model. Pichai says the company is releasing the Bard with a lightweight model version of the LaMDA. This is because smaller models typically require less computing power, and thus Bard can reach more users. And it will get more feedback.

Google will share the input it receives from external users with its internal testing to ensure that the quality of the answers it receives from Bard is held to a high standard and is based on real-world information.
