China Space Race: After completing a 6-month-long mission to build China’s space station, 3 Chinese astronauts returned safely to Earth on Sunday via the ‘Shenzhou-15’ human-crewed spacecraft. The China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) said that Shenzhou-15 astronauts – Fei Junlong, Deng Qingming and Zhang Lu – landed in Dongfeng in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region at around 6.33 am Beijing time. They were landed at the landing site. The China Manned Space Agency has announced that Junlong, Qingming and Lu have completed a 6-month space station mission.
Shenzhou-15 Mission Was Successful
The China Manned Space Agency said that the health of the astronauts was fine and the Shenzhou-15 human-crewed mission was successful. On May 30, 3 astronauts, including a civilian, were sent to the Chinese space station to replace Junlong, Qingming and Lu. This new team of astronauts will remain in the space station for 5 months.
China Going To Leave America Behind
If this station is ready, China will be the only country with its space station because Russia’s ‘International Space Station’ (ISS) is a collaborative project of many nations. ISS will be out of service by 2030.
China Achieved This Achievement
The biggest feature of China’s space station is its two robotic arms. The long arm is more important, which can capture objects, including satellites, from space. Mission Commander Fei said, ‘We have completed all the assigned tasks. We feel very good about returning to our motherland.
