Rishi Sunak Joins Immigration Raids, Arrests 105 Foreign Nationals

The raid campaign against illegal immigrants in Britain has gained momentum these days. This time PM Rishi Sunak also participated in the raid. Sunak poses as an immigration officer for a day and conducts raids against illegal immigrants along with enforcement officers.

Rishi Sunak launched a raid campaign against people living in the country illegally. Wearing bulletproof vests, they raided illegal immigrants’ hideouts in the Brent area of north London.

In this nationwide search operation, 105 foreign nationals from 20 countries have been arrested. All of them were living in Britain illegally. Seeing this campaign of Rishi Sunak, it seems his top priority is stopping illegal immigration in the country before the elections. Let us tell you that there are general elections in Britain next year.

Rishi Sunak himself gave information on social media about becoming an immigration officer on social media. Rishi Sunak tweeted that on Thursday, I joined the immigration officers in the crackdown on illegal immigrants. This country will decide who will come here and not any criminal gang. The PM said that this work is important to tackle unlawful immigration and fulfil his promise to stop boats entering the country.

Britain’s Home Minister Suella Braverman said The main objective of the PM is to rein in the criminal gang. Illegal workers harm our people; honest workers don’t get employment. This is having a huge impact on people’s pockets. These people do not pay taxes, thus causing loss to the public exchequer.

He further said that, as PM Sunak has said, we are committed to dealing with violating our laws and borders. We know black market employment benefits migrants, but it hurts Britain. It encourages migrants to make dangerous and illegal journeys towards Britain. It is clear from today’s campaign that we will not let this happen.

According to the report, the immigration officer raided 159 suspicious places. This included restaurants, car washes, barber shops and general stores. 105 foreigners working here were detained. They did not have valid documents.

The Home Office detained more than 40 of those arrested for deportation from the UK, while the rest were released on immigration bail.

According to a report, in the past, more than 233 Indian migrants had illegally crossed the English Channel through small boats. In 2023, this figure crossed 250 in January itself.
