Mahindra will launch a 5-door version of Thar in the Indian market on August 15. The company has said that it will be sold as Thar Roxx. The upcoming Thar 5-door can be offered with a panoramic sunroof. However, this has not been confirmed in the spy shots so far. However, the latest pictures of the production-ready Mahindra Thar Roxx have confirmed the inclusion of a panoramic sunroof.
Dual Screen Setup
The interior of the Thar Roxx will have more space and be more high-tech than before. To improve the experience, it is expected to be given a dual-screen setup. It will likely have a sizeable 10.25-inch touchscreen at the center, similar to the XUV700 and XUV3XO, offering advanced connectivity and entertainment features powered by the AdrenoX system.
360-Degree Camera
Recently, 360-degree cameras have become a prevalent feature, with many automakers incorporating them into their vehicles. It is expected to be included in the Mahindra Thar ROXX. This technology promises to improve manoeuvrability and parking, especially in challenging urban and off-road situations.
Level-2 Adas
Including Level-2 Adas in the Mahindra Thar Roxx is expected to improve its technical capabilities further. Recent spy shots showed camera-based Adas components on the Thar Roxx. However, there is no confirmation of whether the production model will use Camera- or radar-based or both technologies.
