Today, the Maharashtra cabinet passed a proposal to award Bharat Ratna to Ratan Tata. After paying tribute to Ratan Tata, the proposal was passed. The Maharashtra government will now send this proposal to the central government.
Earlier, Shinde faction leader Rahul Kanal had demanded this. In a letter to Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, he demanded that the Maharashtra government propose Ratan Tata’s name for Bharat Ratna. This would be a true tribute to him.

One Day State Mourning In Maharashtra
On Thursday, the Maharashtra government announced a one-day mourning period to pay tribute to Ratan Tata. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that the national flag on government offices in Maharashtra would remain half-mast on October 10 as a symbol of mourning.

Ratan Tata’s body has been kept at the National Performing Arts Center at Nariman Point in Mumbai. A huge crowd has gathered for his last darshan. A large number of people have come to pay tribute to him. Many eminent personalities of the country and the world have mourned his death. They have paid their tributes to him. His last rites will be performed at 4 pm.

Let us tell you that Ratan Tata died on Wednesday night. He breathed his last at the age of 86 in Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. Today, his last rites will be performed at the Parsi crematorium in Worli. He will be given a final farewell with state honours.
