According to a Bloomberg report, American Express Hotel Monitor has informed in its data for 2024 that the city in the world where hotel prices will increase the most in Argentina’s capital, Buenos Aires. It has been claimed in this report that Hotel rents in Buenos Aires may increase by up to 17 per cent. It is worth noting that American Express Hotel Monitor released this list after observing the fluctuations in hotel prices in 80 world cities.

According to David Reimer, Executive Vice President of American Express, increasing hotel room rates can be seen in all 80 world cities. It has been claimed in this report that after Buenos Aires, the city named second in this list is Mumbai. This year, hotel rates in Mumbai are expected to increase by 15 per cent. Apart from Mumbai, the names of Chennai and Delhi are also included in this list. Chennai is in fourth place on this list, and Delhi is in seventh place. This year, hotel rates are expected to increase by 14.6 per cent in Chennai and 12 per cent in Delhi.

According to the American Express Hotel Monitor 2024 report, while Buenos Aires and Mumbai are in first and second place, Egypt’s capital, Cairo, is in third place in this list. Apart from this, Bagotia of Colombia, Chicago of America, Paris of France, Boston of America and Jakarta of Indonesia are also included in the list of top-10 cities.
