Now, you can order your favourite food on Zomato while travelling by train and deliver it to your seat. Zomato, a company running a food delivery platform through the app, has joined hands with IRCTC for this service.

More Than 10 Lakh Orders Have Been Delivered

This company’s service has started in many cities of the country. Zomato says its train food delivery service is available in 88 country cities. The company has delivered more than 10 lakh orders to passengers at more than 100 railway stations through this service. Under this service, railway passengers can order their favourite food while travelling, and it is delivered to their seats.

You Can Order From The Coach or Station Premises

Zomato has named this service ‘Zomato—Food Delivery in Trains’. The company says that in addition to customers travelling on the train, customers at the station can also take advantage of this new service. If you are hungry and are waiting for a train at a station, you can order your favourite food there through Zomato. You will not need to leave the station to eat your favourite food.

CEO Goyal Shared The Update

Zomato’s co-founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal shared an update on the social media platform X. He wrote, “Zomato is now delivering food directly to your compartment at more than 100 railway stations. Thanks to our partnership with IRCTC, we have already delivered more than 10 lakh train orders. Try it on your next trip!”

The Stock Had Fallen So Much On Friday

Zomato is constantly offering innovative services to expand its business. Recently, the company started scheduling orders. On Friday, Zomato’s stock fell 3.66 percent to close at Rs 273.50.
