The inauguration program of the Gorakhpur Link Expressway will be a grand event. It is planned to be organised on the border of Gorakhpur and Azamgarh, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi or Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari can inaugurate the expressway in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

The Journey To Lucknow Will Be Completed In 3:30 Hours

The Gorakhpur Link Expressway originates from Jaitpur, near Sahjanwa, and is connected to the Purvanchal Expressway at Salarpur in Azamgarh district. The people of Gorakhpur, Ambedkar Nagar, Sant Kabir Nagar, and Azamgarh districts will directly benefit from this 91.35 km long expressway, which has been constructed at a cost of more than seven thousand crore rupees. With the opening of this expressway, the journey to Lucknow will be completed in 3.30 to 4 hours. The distance to Lucknow via the expressway is approximately 30 to 40 km longer than the route via Gorakhpur and Ayodhya. Still, due to the absence of obstructions, the travel time will be shorter.
