Good news has emerged for Jharkhand. Former Indian cricket team captain and Ranchi resident Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni) will be appointed as the brand ambassador for the Jharkhand Tourism Department. An MoU is expected to be signed between the Government of Jharkhand and MS Dhoni soon.

Earlier, Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Kalpana Soren met Mahendra Singh Dhoni in Ranchi after returning from London. CM Soren also posted a photo from the meeting on X. He wrote in his post, “Had a chance encounter with Mahi.”

Tourism Department sent a request letter.
To give Jharkhand tourism a new identity at the national and international levels, the Tourism Department had sent a request letter to MS Dhoni to become its brand ambassador. MS Dhoni has given his in-principle consent to this proposal. Preparations have now begun to complete the formal process.
Jharkhand’s brand value will be strengthened.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni is a well-known name not only in India but also worldwide. His association with Jharkhand tourism is expected to strengthen the state’s brand value significantly. The government believes that Dhoni’s popularity will give a new identity to Jharkhand’s natural tourist destinations, waterfalls, mountains, forest areas, and tribal culture.

Under the Jharkhand Tourism Department’s plan, video shoots featuring MS Dhoni will be conducted at major tourist destinations in the state.
