Patanjali has received a big blow from the Uttarakhand government. The licensing authority of the Drug Control Department of Uttarakhand has banned 14 products of Divya Pharmacy Company. This action on Patanjali has been seen after the Supreme Court reprimanded the company.

Let us tell you that Divya Pharmacy’s products have been banned due to misleading advertising. The banned products include:

  • Swasari Pravahi

  • Patanjali Drishti Eye Drop

In the notification of the Uttarakhand Drug Control Department, it was said that the license of Divya Pharmacy has been banned for continuously publishing misleading advertisements about the efficacy of its products.

For your information, let us tell you that the Supreme Court repeatedly reprimanded Patanjali Ayurveda for not following the guidelines to stop misleading advertisements for some products. Although Patanjali repeatedly said it would apologize, the Supreme Court rejected Ramdev’s application. The Supreme Court will hear the Patanjali case tomorrow, i.e., on 30th April. During this time, it will be ensured whether contempt charges should be filed against Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev.

Baba Ramdev and Patanjali Ayurveda Limited Managing Director Acharya Balkrishna verbally tendered an unconditional apology before the Supreme Court. The bench asked why you asked to abandon other systems of medicine. Baba Ramdev said Patanjali has tried to make Ayurveda an evidence-based medical system. He is not criticizing anyone.

The Supreme Court intervened and said we are talking about your attitude. If you have done (research), prove it in the interdisciplinary committee of the Central Government. Your lawyer said you will not reject other medicines or their treatments to promote your Ayurveda.
