Apple is planning to launch its payment service, Apple Pay, in the South Asian market. For this, the company is constantly in talks with the Indian authorities. There is also news that Apple is planning to hold talks with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) soon so that Apple Pay can be launched on time.
Apple aims to discover a niche between Walmart’s PhonePe, Google’s Gpay and Paytm. To meet the needs of Indian people, Apple is locally designing Apple Pay which will work on UPI.
