boAt initially announced its smart ring last month. But now it is officially launched. Smart rings can be a good option for those who want more than a smartwatch to keep track of their health metrics.
boAt Smart Ring has a premium look, with a ceramic and metal unibody. It is water resistant up to 5 meters. Various sensors are attached to the inner space of the ring. On the other hand, the top of the ring features smart touch controls that help users connect the device to other devices with swipe navigation. Users can control song playback, press the camera shutter to click photos and navigate the application.
The boAt Smart Ring is equipped with 6 motion sensors for health tracking. It also has a heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, sleep tracker, and menstrual cycle monitor for women, usually available on other wearable devices. The smart ring helps users to monitor the temperature. The boAt Smart Ring also has an Emergency SOS feature. It has up to 7 days of battery life on a full charge.

boAt Smart Ring is priced at Rs 8,999. It is offered in three ring sizes of 17.40mm, 19.15mm and 20.85mm or 7, 9 and 11 respectively. It will be available from August 28 on Amazon, Flipkart and the brand’s website.
