For this, first open WhatsApp. Then go to More Options. Now go to Settings and select Chats. Here you will get the option of Media Visibility; you have to turn it off. After this, no photo will be saved in the gallery and will remain hidden on WhatsApp.
You can also turn off the media of anyone chat or group: You must open a chat or group first. Now go to More Options and View Contact or Group Info. Now go to Media Visibility, select No, and tap OK.
Note: When you download a media file, it is automatically saved in your phone’s gallery. The media visibility option is on by default.
