WhatsApp keeps adding new features to the platform daily for the safety and convenience of its users. According to a recent report, WhatsApp is now working on a new feature called ‘Admin Review’ for Android that will provide group admins with tools to help them moderate their groups better. According to WABetaInfo, a website that tracks new features of WhatsApp, group members can report to the group admin for a specific message when this feature is enabled.
This Is How The Admin Review Feature Will Reduce
If an admin feels that a message is incorrect or violates the group rules, then when a group member complains or reports such a message, the group admin can choose to delete it for everyone.
The new option will be available in the group settings section per the report. Furthermore, it has also been pointed out that reported messages will be visible only to group admins in a new app section within Group Info. The upcoming feature will be available to beta testers in a future update.
Bringing This Feature For Tablet Users
Meanwhile, WhatsApp is reportedly rolling out a new ‘side-by-side’ feature on Android tablets for some beta testers. The feature will allow users to switch between conversations without losing track of their ongoing chats, giving them more control over the WhatsApp interface on their Android tablets. Users can also disable the side-by-side view by toggling the option available within WhatsApp Settings -> Chats.
