King Charles III Revives Royal Tradition, Rides Horse In Birthday Parade

Today, i.e. on June 17, the birthday of Britain’s new King, King Charles III, was celebrated with pomp. A grand parade was organized on this occasion. The parade was attended by 200 horses, 400 musicians from 10 bands and a corps of drums, and over 1,400 military officers. The special thing is that King Charles was seen riding a horse in his first Trooping the Color parade. Charles became the first British monarch in 30 years to ride a horse.

King Charles turned 74 on November 14 last year. But, on June 17, the country celebrates its monarch’s birthday through the royal tradition of parades during the summer months. Because of this, the royal parade was organized.

The event was also attended by the King’s son and heir apparent, William Prince of Wales, his sister Anne Princess Royal and brother Edward Duke of Edinburgh. At the same time, Queen Camilla, wife of King Prince Charles, Charles’s daughter-in-law Catherine Wales and his two grandsons (Prince George, Prince Louis), a granddaughter Princess Charlotte were present behind them in a horse-drawn carriage. The parade passed through the Mall to Buckingham Palace in central London.

First Trooping The Color Parade Since Elizabeth’s Death

Let us tell you that this parade is the first Trooping the Color parade after the death of Queen Elizabeth II, mother of Charles. Queen Elizabeth died in September last year at the age of 96. The parade dates back to when flags were used as a rallying point on the battlefield and required that soldiers recognize their regimental flag colours.
