PM Modi US Visit: US President Joe Biden on Thursday (June 22), along with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, warned Pakistan to act against terrorists. Issuing a joint statement, the two leaders demanded action against Pakistan-based terrorist groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed.
In their joint statement, Joe Biden and Prime Minister Modi strongly condemned Pakistan for cross-border terrorism and insidious terrorist activities. He asked Pakistan to act against the terrorists as soon as possible and said that no area under Pakistani control should be used for terrorist attacks.
This Demand From Pakistan Regarding The 2008 Mumbai Attacks
India and America also demanded severe punishment from Pakistan for the conspirators of the 2008 Mumbai attacks. Under the leadership of PM Modi, giving a befitting reply to Pakistan, India took a tough stand against terrorism by conducting air strikes after the 2019 Pulwama terror attack.
The US has historically had good relations with Pakistan but has criticized Pakistan for the growing ties between the Taliban and Islamabad’s powerful military.
