According to the Indian Railways, the Bangalore-Dharwad Vande Bharat Express has been targeted this time. Train number 20661 (Bengaluru-Dharwad) Vande Bharat Express train was pelted with stones at 08.40 am, officials said.
According to the railways, the incident occurred when the train was between the Kadur-Birur section in Karnataka after passing through Kadur station. During this, stones were pelted by some unknown persons. No loss of train or any passenger has been reported in this incident.
There Was Stone Pelting On July 1 As Well
Let me tell you, earlier on July 1; there was stone pelting on the Vande Bharat Express train in Karnataka. The train was pelted with rocks in Davanagere between 3.30 and 4 pm. The C-4 coach of the train was damaged in the incident. In this matter, RPF is investigating. Even before this, there have been reports of stone pelting on Vande Bharat.
Mysore Chennai Vande Bharat Also Had Stones On It
Let me tell you, before this, on February 26, stones were pelted on the Mysore-Chennai Vande Bharat Express train. Stones were pelted at the train between Krishnarajapuram-Bengaluru Cantonment railway station. Thankfully no one was injured in this incident. In the past, a similar incident had also come to the fore from the Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh.
