Israeli forces have started taking revenge for the attack by Hamas. According to the Times of Israel report, the armies have created Operation ‘Iron Swords’ in response to Hamas’s sudden attack on Israel. Israel Defense Forces (IDF) is attacking Hamas positions in Gaza. Israeli Defense Forces gave this information in a post on ‘X’. On Saturday, the biggest attack was carried out by Hamas in southern Israel. Hamas has fired 5,000 rockets on Israel.
Targeting Hamas In Gaza
“In response to the barrage of rockets fired by Hamas from Gaza at Israel, the IDF is striking Hamas targets in Gaza,” the IDF said. Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant insisted that the country would win the war and said that Hamas had made a “serious mistake” by launching a surprise rocket attack on Israel. The Times of Israel said, ‘Hamas made a grave mistake this morning and started a war against the State of Israel. IDF soldiers are fighting the enemy at all infiltration sites. The State of Israel will win this war.’
Attacks Are Happening From Many Places
The IDF is currently attacking Hamas targets in Gaza in response to rockets fired by Hamas at Israel from Gaza. The Israeli army is responding to Hamas terrorists at several places near the Gaza Strip border in southern Israel. The attacks come from Kfar, Aja, Sderot, Sufa, Nahal Oz, Magen, Berri and Reim military base. IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said more than 2,200 rockets were fired into Israel since 6:30 a.m. Saturday, the report said.
Battle At Seven Places
The firing continued for more than three and a half hours. Hagari said Hamas militants infiltrated by land, sea and air. He further said that fighting between Hamas and IDF troops continues in at least seven locations. The Israeli military is hoping to recruit thousands of soldiers. Hamas claims to have kidnapped five IDF soldiers. The IDF has not yet spoken on the report.
