Features and Specifications Of Bajaj CNG Motorcycle
Bajaj’s Platina and CT motorcycles offer the highest mileage in the entry-level commuter segment. Their ARAI-certified range is 70 km/l. CNG bikes are expected to offer higher mileage. This will be the most fuel-efficient motorcycle in its category. The company can take a 110cc engine from another motorcycle in its own family.
As seen with the Platina 110cc and CT 110X, this petrol engine generates a maximum power of 8.6 PS and a maximum torque of 9.81 Nm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
This CNG motorcycle of Bajaj is expected to get a bio-fuel setup. In such a situation, a dedicated switch can be found in this bike, allowing the user to switch from CNG to petrol or from petrol to CNG. The CNG tank will be under the seat, while the petrol tank will be in its normal position. Overall, Bajaj’s CNG motorcycle’s quality and strong mileage can make it the leader in the segment. This bike is believed to have a 100 to 120 Km mileage in one kg CNG.
Bajaj wants to expand its portfolio’s share of ‘cleaner fuels’. This includes the entire spectrum of EV, Ethanol, LPG and CNG. Initially, it will produce around 1 to 1.20 lakh CNG bikes annually, which will later be increased to about 2 lakh units. Its price will be around Rs 1 lakh.
