Impact Of Rain On Public Life

Let us tell you that due to continuous rain in Mumbai, public life has become disrupted. At the same time, the rain has also spoiled the kitchen taste, and people are now upset due to the increased price of vegetables. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted that Mumbai, Thane, and other Maharashtra districts will likely receive moderate to heavy rainfall by Saturday. There is a possibility of moderate rain in Mumbai today, after which there will be heavy rain till July 13, due to which the Meteorological Department has issued a ‘yellow’ alert for the city.

Schools and Colleges Closed, Traffic Affected

On the other hand, people were relieved when the rain stopped in Mumbai on Tuesday. However, schools and colleges have been kept closed given the IMD’s heavy rain warning. At the same time, due to the rain a day earlier, life in the metropolis was badly affected, and air, rail, and road traffic was disrupted. On Tuesday morning, the country’s financial capital remained cloudy, but the rain stopped, and the suburban rail services, considered Mumbai’s ‘lifeline, ‘ were back on track.
