Adani Group plans to expand its cloud segment business in the coming days. Preparations are underway for a new deal. Adani Group’s JV Sirius Digitech Limited has agreed to buy cloud company CoreEdge.io.

Sirius Digitech Limited provided information about the proposed deal on Tuesday. It said a binding contract was signed to acquire cloud platform company CoreEdge.io Private Limited. Sirius Digitech Limited is a joint venture company with stakes in Sirius International Holding and Adani Group.

Sirius Digitech Limited believes this deal will help it provide cloud services to various companies. With its services, companies can use sovereign cloud innovations while keeping sensitive data within their limits. CoreEdge aims to develop everything from metal servers to infrastructure and Platform as a Service based on open-source technology.

Sirius DigiTech’s Portfolio Will Expand

With this, Sirius DigiTech will have access to the complete sovereign data centre solution developed by CoreEdge, and the company will be able to provide Machine Learning as a Service developed on its infrastructure. CoreEdge delivers secure, scalable, and AI-designed cloud services to government and private customers. After the deal, all these services will become part of Sirius DigiTech’s portfolio.
