The Railways has warned that anyone playing audio or video on loudspeakers or creating a disturbance in trains or railway premises could face jail time.

According to the Railways, prolonged phone conversations, loud ringtones, and music on loudspeakers in AC coaches disturb other passengers. Fine and Punishment
Under Section 145(2) of the Railways Act, 1989, a fine of ₹1,000 may be imposed for making any noise. Additionally, such passengers may have their ticket or pass confiscated and be removed from the train. If a passenger continues their behaviour despite being stopped by a railway employee, they may be punished with imprisonment of up to six months, a fine of up to 5,000 rupees, or both.
