Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will give a big gift to Delhiites on New Year. The Delhi government will make 450 medical tests free of cost in all its hospitals and health centres from January 1, 2023.
Giving information about this, sources said on Tuesday that, at present, 212 types of medical tests are done free of cost by the Delhi government. Sources in the government said that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had approved the proposal of the health department to make 238 more tests free of cost in hospitals and mohalla clinics. He said that this facility would be available to the people of Delhi.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted, It is our mission to provide good quality health and education to all, irrespective of their economic status. Healthcare has become expensive. Many people cannot afford private healthcare. This step will help all such people.
