81.35 Crore People Enjoyed The New Year, A Big Change In The Free Ration Scheme From Today!

Free Ration Will Be Available For The Whole Year In 2023

The central government has changed the rules under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) from January 1. The government has said that from today until December 2023, 81.35 crore people will benefit from the free ration. Giving information, the Food Ministry has said that from January 1 to December 31, 2023, no ration fee will be charged to all the beneficiaries.

Rs 2 Lakh Crore Will Be Spent

The Food Ministry has said that in 2023, the central government will spend more than Rs 2 lakh crore on food subsidies, so everyone can quickly benefit from a free ration facility.

Guidelines Issued By The Ministry

In the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Food, it has been said that under the new food security scheme, the government will give the benefit of free ration to crores of people. This facility is being given to the card holders under the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana. The government started this facility during the Corona period. Now, you will not have to spend a single rupee for a ration this whole year.

Officers Have Been Ordered To Investigate

FCI officials have ordered all the people to check the shops in their area and report whether this scheme is being implemented correctly. Along with this, advice has been sought from the states on making available the margin of the dealer who distributes the ration.
