Launching Bharat Taxi, CM Yogi Adityanath said, “Until now, no one had considered the benefits of taxi drivers. But now, they won’t have to pay any commission. This means they will become part of Bharat Taxi with zero commission upon registration. Overall, they won’t have to pay any commissions like Ola or Uber.” CM Yogi said, “The owners of Bharat Taxi will be the drivers. Now, anyone can earn a lot of money by driving it for four hours. This means they can earn the same amount of money as full-time drivers part-time.”

At the launch of Bharat Taxi, UP Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak said, “Now, embrace Bharat Taxi. Bharat Taxi means your own money, your own car, and your own driver.” Don’t become a servant by driving private companies’ cabs; become an owner by driving your own. Any driver can become a part of Bharat Taxi with registration and zero commission.
How can passengers benefit from Bharat Taxi?
It’s worth noting that to take advantage of this government-initiated scheme, there’s also a Bharat Taxi app. Similar to Ola and Uber, you can download it from app stores. This app is available in all major languages: Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, and English.
What benefits do drivers get from Bharat Taxi?
The biggest advantage for drivers with Bharat Taxi is that they won’t have to pay any commission. This means they’ll earn 100% of their earnings from every ride, with no deductions. However, they’ll only have to pay a very low daily, weekly, or monthly fee.
This government doesn’t have a single owner.
It’s worth noting that the Bharat Taxi initiative is a central government initiative. It’s largely government-owned, with no private owners. Other taxi companies, like Ola and Uber, are completely private.
There will be no fare increase during peak hours.
