Aston Martin’s new prices: How much reduction has been made on which car?
The price reductions for Aston Martin cars vary by model. The Vanquish Volante has received the largest price cut of ₹4.02 crore (approximately $1.84 million USD). The Vantage S Coupe is now cheaper by ₹1.84 crore (approximately $1.84 million USD). All prices are ex-showroom.
The Vanquish Volante is the biggest price reduction
Aston Martin’s Vanquish Volante is among the company’s cars experiencing the biggest price reduction. Its ex-showroom price, previously ₹10.92 crore, has now been reduced to ₹6.90 crore, representing a ₹4.02 crore reduction for customers.
The price of the Vanquish Coupe has been reduced from ₹10.11 crore to ₹6.40 crore. This represents a price reduction of ₹3.71 crore. This means that purchasing this luxury car will now cost significantly less than before.
Aston Martin’s entry-level car will be available for ₹3.15 crore
After the price revision, the Vantage S is the lowest starting price option in the company’s Indian performance car range. Previously priced at ₹4.99 crore, it is now available for ₹3.15 crore. The price of its roadster version has also been reduced from ₹5.26 crore to ₹3.35 crore.
DB12 S and DBX S also became cheaper
Aston Martin’s sports car, the DB12 S, is now priced at ₹4.10 crore. Previously, it cost ₹6.62 crore. This represents a price reduction of ₹2.52 crore.
The price of the DB12 S Volante has been reduced from ₹7 crore to ₹4.35 crore. The company’s performance SUV, the DBX S, will now be available for ₹4.15 crore, down from ₹6.80 crore. Both models have also seen a price reduction of more than ₹2.5 crore.
How did Aston Martin cars become cheaper in India?
The India-UK FTA, a major reason behind the price reduction of Aston Martin cars, is the free trade agreement between India and the UK. The import duty relief for eligible British vehicles under this agreement helps reduce car costs. The company has passed this benefit on to customers by revising the prices of its Indian car range.
This impact has been felt not just on one model, but on seven cars across the Vantage, DB12, DBX, and Vanquish ranges. The Vanquish Volante has seen the biggest benefit, with a price reduction of ₹4.02 crore.
