Cheapest Electric Car In India: The market of electric cars is expanding rapidly in the country, due to which automakers are continuously launching new models in the market. But their prices are much higher than regular cars.

Tata Tiago EV

The Tiago EV is available in two battery pack options of 19.2kWh and 24kWh. An electric motor coupled with these battery packs produces 61 PS of power and 110 Nm of torque and 75 PS of power and 114 Nm of torque, respectively. The smaller battery gives a range of up to 250 km, while the larger battery pack offers a range of 315 km.

The Tiago EV supports four charging options: a 15A socket charger, a 3.3kW AC charger, a 7.2kW AC charger and a DC fast charger. The starting ex-showroom price of this car is Rs 8.49 lakh.

Tata Tigor EV

The electric sedan gets the same Ziptron EV technology as the Nexon EV. The Tigor EV is powered by a 26 kWh battery pack and an electric motor producing 75 PS and 170 Nm of output.

This car can be charged from 0-80 per cent in 8.5 hours using a standard wall charger and in just 60 minutes using a 25kW DC fast charger. The Tigor EV can deliver a range of up to 306 km. The starting ex-showroom price of this car is Rs 12.49 lakh.

Tata Nexon EV Prime

The Nexon EV Prime is powered by a 30.2kWh lithium-ion battery, to which the connected electric motor produces 129 PS of power and 245 Nm of torque. The car is claimed to have an ARAI range of 312 km.

Using a 3.3kW AC charger, the battery takes 8.5 hours to fully charge, while a 50kW DC fast charger can be set from 0 to 80% in just 60 minutes. The ex-showroom price of this car is Rs 14.99 lakh.

Tata Nexon EV Max

A 40.5kWh battery pack has been used for power in Nexon EV Max. Its electric motor can produce 143 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. It claims to have an ARAI-certified range of 437 km.

The electric SUV can be charged with two charging options of 3.3kW and 7.2kW, which take 15 and six hours, respectively. Also, the 50kW DC fast charger can charge its battery from 0 to 80 per cent in just 56 minutes. The ex-showroom price of this car is Rs 18.34 to 20.04 lakh.

MG ZS EV

The ZS EV is a 5-seater SUV powered by a 50.3 kWh battery pack. The electric motor found in it generates the power of 176 PS. This car can give a range of 461km on a single charge. It is available in the market in two variants. The starting ex-showroom price of this car is Rs 22.58 lakh.
