Tata Motors Sees Strong Passenger Vehicle Sales, EV Segment Shines in February

Tata Motors today said on Friday that it had sold a total of 51,276 units of passenger vehicles in the domestic Indian market in February, which is 20 per cent more than February 2023. Along with this, the company’s EV sales are also continuously increasing.

Tata Motors Sales Report

Tata Motors sold 51,321 cars in February, up from 43,140 car units in 2023. Notably, the company sold 6,923 EVs last month, whereas only 5,318 units were sold in the same month a year ago. Domestic manufacturers sell EVs like Nexon EV, Nexon EV Max, Tiago EV, and Tigor EV. The company’s EV sales have increased by 30 per cent year-on-year.

Good Demand For Harrier and Safari

Late last year, the Safari and Harrier SUVs were updated with more features and a more stylish exterior design. The company has consistently scored 5 stars on these models in the Global NCAP crash test.
