Gautam Adani Made A Big Deal With Google, Will Do This Work Together

Industrialist Gautam Adani’s Adani Group has entered into a major partnership with Google, the world’s largest search engine company. This partnership is related to protecting the environment for future generations and working towards sustainability. Adani Group and Google will now cooperate in the green energy sector.

Adani Group said that both companies will cooperate to achieve their sustainability goals. This step will also help increase the source of green energy in the Indian grid. Google announced the partnership with Adani Group at the Google for India program here.

How Will The Google-Adani Partnership Work?

Adani Group says this partnership will supply Google with 61.4 MW of renewable energy. This supply will be from Adani Group’s renewable energy plant, which is being built in Khavda, Gujarat. This is the world’s largest 30-gigawatt green energy project. Under this project, a new solar and wind power hybrid plan is being prepared. The commercial operation of this new project is expected to start in the third quarter of 2025.

In this unique partnership, Google will buy electricity from the grid. This will help Google run its 24×7 cloud service and other corporate operations in India with green energy. It will also help Google achieve its goal of running its operations completely on green energy by 2030. It will contribute to Google’s environmentally friendly growth in India.

In the same program, Google signed a deal to buy 125.4 MW of green energy from CleanMax. This will help the company shift its entire operations to green energy.

Adani Group Has Done The Merger

Recently, Adani Enterprises, the flagship company of the Adani Group, has merged its two subsidiaries. Adani Infrastructure Private Limited and Mundra Solar Technology Limited have been merged into ‘Adani New Industries Ltd’. This company is also a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises. This company works to develop thermal and solar power projects. At the same time, ANIL will also focus on making green hydrogen and wind turbines.
