FasTag Service Gets Expensive; Now Users Will Have to Pay Service Fees

Service Fee Will Have To Be Paid On These Conditions

25 rupees will have to be paid for the Fastag statement. If someone has to close Fastag, then a fee of 100 rupees will have to be paid. 25 rupees will have to be paid for tag management. Even if there is less money in the account, a charge of 25 rupees per quarter will have to be paid. For this, companies have also started sending messages to the customers.

Let us tell you that till now, no service charge has been levied on Fastag. Citing expenses, banks have suddenly started charging service charges on all the above items from July 1. It has also been said that if anyone has not done the KYC of Fastag, then get it done immediately.

New Instructions Issued By NPCI

If someone’s Fastag is five years old, then it will have to be changed immediately. Make sure Fastag’s KYC process is completed every three years. Not only this but it has also now been made mandatory to link Fastag to the vehicle’s chassis number. If the vehicle number is unavailable, the chassis number has been made compulsory. After buying a new car, updating the vehicle number within 90 days will be necessary. If you do not do this, your Fastag will be closed after 30. While doing KYC, a clear photo of the front side of the vehicle will have to be uploaded.
