Janmashtami Celebrations in Vraj, Banke Bihari Temple Issues Advisory

Janmashtami is being celebrated in the Vraj region at this time. The enthusiasm of children and older people to celebrate Kanhaiya’s birth anniversary is worth seeing.

Meanwhile, the world-famous Thakur Banke Bihari temple management has advised the devotees. It is clearly said that children and older people should not be brought to the temple on the day of Janmashtami. The temple management committee has had to make this decision due to the continuous crowd in the Banke Bihari temple and the incidents that have happened in the past few days.

Let us tell you that Janmashtami is celebrated for two days this year in Mathura. This festival will be celebrated on 26 August at the birthplace of Lord Krishna. The event is still being organized on 27 August in the famous Banke Bihari temple of Vrindavan, the place of Lord’s Raas.

In such a situation, a huge crowd may gather in the Banke Bihari temple this time. Considering this possibility, all preparations have been completed at the Banke Bihari temple. However, no concrete solution has been found to control the crowd gathering in the temple.

Entry and Exit Will Be Through Different Routes

In such a situation, the temple management has issued an advisory to avoid untoward incidents. It clearly states that children or elderly people should not be brought to the temple on the day of Janmashtami. The temple management has also appealed to the devotees not to enter the temple with bags or luggage. It is said to use the entrance gate to enter the temple and the exit gate to go out. No devotee should try to enter through the exit gate or exit through the entrance gate.
