Gorakhpur Siliguri Expressway
Work is being done on a new expressway between Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh and Siliguri in West Bengal. This express will greatly benefit states like Bihar in eastern India. This express is passing through more than 10 districts of Bihar, which include Gopalganj, West Champaran, Motihari, East Champaran, Sheohar, Sitamarhi, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Supaul, Forbesganj, Araria and Kishanganj. A total of 416 km long part of this 519 km long expressway is passing through Bihar. It is being built at about Rs 32 thousand crore and can be completed by 2025.
Varanasi Kolkata Expressway
Another expressway is being built from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh to Kolkata in West Bengal, a part of which will pass through Bihar. This 610 km long expressway is being built for Rs 35 thousand crore and is expected to be completed by 2026 or 2027. It will have a long section of about 187 km in Bihar. The Kaimur, Aurangabad, Rohtas, and Gaya districts can be connected.
Haldia Raxaul Expressway
Haldia and Raxaul Expressway will also significantly increase Bihar’s road network. This 650 km long expressway will connect nine districts of Bihar. According to the information, Banka, Jamui, Sheikhpura, Nalanda, Patna, Saran, Muzaffarpur, Motihari, and West Champaran districts will be connected by this expressway.

These expressways in Bihar will also benefit real estate. The price of land is increasing even before they start.
