Mumbai-Bhubaneswar IndiGo Flight Grounded on Aerobridge, Chaos Erupts at Airport

IndiGo flight from Mumbai to Bhubaneswar remained stuck on the aerobridge of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport for hours. Due to this, there was an atmosphere of chaos at Mumbai airport. Passengers alleged that there was no air circulation on the aerobridge. During this time, a heated argument was also seen between the passengers and the airport staff.

According to an India Today report, several passengers also alleged that the ground staff was asked to start boarding, but they were not allowed to board the flight as the IndiGo crew was absent. After a long time, the doors of the aerobridge were opened, and the passengers disembarked at the boarding station.

Actress Radhika Apte Wrote A Post On Instagram

Film actress Radhika Apte had also reportedly booked her ticket on this flight. She shared his story in a lengthy post on his Instagram account. However, the city’s name, airport and airline were not taken. Radhika Apte also shared a video where many passengers are seen behind a closed glass door.

She wrote in this post, “I had to post this! Today, my flight was at 8:30 am, and now it is 10:50 am, but the flight has not boarded yet. But the flight said we were boarding and took all the passengers to the aerobridge and locked it.”

Indigo Airlines’ Reaction

After this post, an Indigo spokesperson said the airline’s flight from Mumbai to Bhubaneswar was delayed for operational reasons. The spokesperson said, “Flight 6E 2301 from Mumbai to Bhubaneswar was delayed due to operational reasons. Passengers were informed about the delay. We regret the inconvenience caused to all our passengers.”
