ISRO posted on Twitter that efforts have been made to establish communication with Vikram lander and Pragyan rover to ascertain their waking state. At present, no signal has been received from their side. Efforts to establish contact will continue.

Nilesh Desai, director of the Space Application Center on Chandrayaan-3, said that efforts will be made to activate the lander and rover on Saturday. Nilesh Desai told news agency ANI that it is morning on the Moon. Earlier, we planned to reactivate Pragyan Rover and Vikram Lander by the evening of September 22, but due to some reasons, this could not happen.
He said that we would try again tomorrow, September 23. Earlier on Thursday, ISRO had said that the lander and rover have been in sleep mode for 16 days, and both will be activated on Friday. Union Science Minister Jitendra Singh also informed the Lok Sabha on Thursday that Pragyan and Vikram will wake up from sleep soon.
