Noida Authority is continuously working to settle New Noida. Meanwhile, a significant update has been released regarding New Noida. It is reported that the compensation rate for villages under New Noida will soon be fixed. After which, the process of land acquisition will be started.
The Struggle For The Meeting Has Been Going On For 3 Months
A meeting of the officers from the Noida Authority, District Administration Gautam Buddha Nagar, and District Administration Bulandshahr is scheduled to be held regarding New Noida. For the last 3 months, the officers of the three authorities, the administration of Gautam Buddha Nagar and the district administration of Bulandshahr, have been struggling to hold a meeting.
However, it is unclear what the issue is that prevents them from holding the meeting. It is now being reported that their meeting will be held next week. In this meeting, the compensation rate will be fixed for the villages of New Noida. Due to the compensation rate not being fixed, the land acquisition process cannot commence.
The Authority Expressed Hope For A Meeting
An official of the Noida Authority says that a meeting will be held next week. Discussions are underway with the officials of Bulandshahr’s district administration to schedule the meeting. It is expected that some discussion will occur during the meeting regarding adjusting the compensation rate. After this, land acquisition work can begin by consulting with the villagers.
16 16,000 Farmer Families Live In 80 Villages
80 villages have been included in New Noida. Approximately 16,000 farmer families reside in these villages. It is being said that after the compensation rate is fixed, the land of 15 villages will be acquired first. Approximately 3,000 farmer families reside in these 15 villages. After distributing compensation to them, the turn of farmers from other villages will come. A meeting will be held with them. A total of 3,165 hectares of land are to be acquired in the first phase.
