The first event of this program was born on February 16, 2018.
In a written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha, Union Minister of State for Education Annapurna Devi said that Rs 3.67 crore was spent on the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ program in 2018, Rs 4.93 crore in 2019, Rs 5.69 crore in 2020, Rs 6 crore in 2021 and Rs 6 crore in 2022. 8.61 crore was spent. The minister’s reply did not contain the details of the expenditure on this year’s event. Due to the coronavirus epidemic, this program was organized virtually in 2021.
This Time A Record 38 Lakh Students Got Registered
A record 38 lakh students registered this year to participate in ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’. According to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the enrollment of students was at least 15 lacks more than last year. Answering questions from students during the event, Modi said that students should try to concentrate on their work. Apart from this, Modi also spoke strongly against unfair practices in the examinations.
PM’s Interaction With Students Appearing For Board Exams
It is an annual event in which the Prime Minister interacts with the students appearing for the upcoming board exams. During this program, he answers questions related to exam stress and other issues of the students. The first edition of this program was launched on February 16, 2018. Students could register to participate in this program from November 25 to December 30, 2022.
