A powerful Western disturbance is looming over Afghanistan, the impact of which can be seen in many states of India. According to the India Meteorological Department, the impact of the western disturbance is expected to reach Lucknow by April 11.

According to IMD, the weather changed on Saturday due to the intense heat prevailing for the next 10 days. The movement of clouds in the sky continued until evening, which relieved the people from the heat. According to the Meteorological Department, rain and thundershowers may occur in many parts of the district in the next three to four days.
As the day progresses, people will have to face heat and humidity. Here, clouds started hovering in the sky in the afternoon. By evening, the wind blew, and people were relieved of the heat. It recorded a partial fall of 40.9 degrees Celsius, 2.3 degrees Celsius below the average temperature of April. Even on Saturday, Prayagraj remained the hottest in the state for the fifth consecutive day.

According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain may be seen in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and eastern areas of Gangetic West Bengal in the next 24 hours. A warning of light to moderate rain has been issued in Northeast India, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, parts of Jharkhand, Vidarbha and southeast Madhya Pradesh.
Light rain is expected in North Telangana. Scattered rain may be seen in coastal Karnataka, Kerala, and Lakshadweep. Light rain is expected in the western Himalayan region, and snowfall is expected in the upper areas.
