Starting the innings, Charles scored the first century of his T20 career. He has become the fourth player to score a century for West Indies in T20. Bowlers Could Not Survive In The Storm Of Johnson Charles
Johnson Charles, who came to bat first in the second T20 match, surprised all the players by hitting a century in just 39 balls while batting furiously. Charles hit nine sixes and nine fours to reach his century. In this match, Johnson lent himself to the bowlers of South Africa. Playing on 118, Marco Johnson clean-bowled Charles to end his rampage. Charles completed his century in 39 balls and was dismissed after scoring 118 runs in 46 balls.
Johnson Charles’ bat not only won his team but was also the highest run scorer in the entire series. Johnson Charles was awarded the Man of the Series award. He scored 146 runs in the 3-match series with a strike rate of 239.34.
