The Final Cut camera app for Apple users has been made live on the App Store. Users can now download the app by going to iOS and iPadOS. The company has also made Final Cut Pro available for Mac 10.8 and iPad 2. Apple claimed that its updated video editing software will provide 2x faster rendering and up to 4x more streams of ProRes RAW than M1.
Final Cut Camera and Final Cut Pro for iPad 2 are companion apps. The Final Cut camera is designed to power the live multicam feature. Let us remind you that Apple previewed the M4 iPad Pro and M2 iPad Air app at the Let’s Loose event last month and said that these devices will come later this year.
Features Available In Final Cut Camera App
This app lets you record a video stream from different angles using a live multicam during the shoot. After installing the app on your iPhone and iPad, you can also control the camera settings wirelessly for the feed.
The Final Cut Camera app can also work as a standalone video recording app for iPhone and iPad. With Final Cut Camera and iPhone 15 Pro, you can record video directly to an external solid-state drive (SSD). Users can import video clips recorded from Final Cut Camera to Final Cut Pro for Mac.
Settings Can Also Be Changed Manually
In the Final Cut Camera app, the company has given users manual control over many services, including settings like resolution, frame rate, codecs, exposure, ISO, shutter speed, white balance, and colour temperature. Apart from this, you will have to use the iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max for some features, like the ability to record on external storage.
