Apple, the company that sells iPhones, is going to import the Made in India iPhone 15 at a fast pace. The company has started manufacturing of iPhone 15 in India. It is being said that Apple will import Made in India devices much faster than before. Apple-maker Foxconn is set to start local production of the next-generation iPhone 15 more quickly than ever at its Sriperumbudur facility near Tamil Nadu, as the company doubles down on ‘Make in India’.
Ease Of Access Post Launch
According to IANS news, Apple’s target is to distribute the locally assembled iPhone 15 as soon as it is launched internationally in the middle of next month so that post-launch availability can be made easier and products from India to other countries. Export can be accelerated. According to the news, a small set of Make in India iPhone 15 units will likely be exported to other countries within a short time of its global launch.
These Companies Are Also In The Field
Other Apple product suppliers in India, such as Pegatron and Wistron (acquired by the Tata group), will also start assembling the iPhone 15 at the earliest. Bloomberg first released the report related to Made in India iPhone 15. Let us tell you, last year; Apple started assembling the iPhone 14 at the Foxconn facility in India in September. This was the first time a new iPhone was assembled in India, only a few weeks after its global launch.
Apple Made A Record In India
Apple CEO Tim Cook announced earlier this month that the company set a record in the June quarter in India due to strong sales of iPhones. Sometime back, Apple started opening its stores in India from Mumbai and Delhi. Cook said that the performance of our new store in India exceeded our expectations.
