Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, has launched his new AI company. The name of this company is XAI. Musk’s new company aims to understand the true nature of the universe.

In the tech world, X in xAI stands for ‘expendable’, which means explainable artificial intelligence. This helps humans to understand the reasoning behind the decisions or predictions made by Artificial Intelligence. However, only Elon Musk can tell us what X means in Elon Musk’s xAI.
According to the information, there are currently 12 people in the xAI team, including Elon Musk. Apart from Musk, the rest are coders and AI experts. He has been a part of companies such as DeepMind, Open AI, Google Research, and Microsoft Research.
xAI has also hired Dan Hendricks, principal researcher at the AI Safety Center, as an advisor. Hendricks currently heads the Center for AI Safety in San Francisco.
The team includes Yuhui Wu, Jimmy Ba, Christian Szegedy, Toby Pohlen, Kyle Kosik, Guodong Zhang, Manuel Kroes, Igor Babushkin, etc.
The company plans to work closely with other companies, including Tesla and Twitter, which was spun off into an entity called X Corp.
In a Twitter space, Musk said that AI will surpass human intelligence in five to six years. Musk said if AI tried to understand the true nature of the universe, that would be the best thing from an AI safety perspective.
