Apple is about to launch the iPhone 15 series in September this year. According to a report by an Apple analyst, the company will work a lot on the hardware specifications in its new series. The company will work on the hardware to build an ecosystem for the Vision Pro. Also, Apple can come up with a better ultra-wideband chip. Its upgraded chipset will also reduce power consumption with better performance.
Apple has used the same U1 UWB chip since the iPhone 11. This chip is used in the Apple Watch Series 6 and later generations. It has been used in the Apple HomePod Mini, second generation HomePod, the new AirPods Pro case, and AirTags. With this, Apple can bring Wi-Fi 7 to the iPhone 16.
At the same time, 3 major upgrades can come in the iPhone 15 and its Plus variant. There are reports that the iPhone 15 series standard models will come with Apple’s new Dynamic Island feature and punch-hole display design. However, there is no official information about it at the moment.
The punch-hole design is available only in the Apple iPhone 14 Pro models. But it is estimated to be seen in the iPhone 15 series. Also, one major upgrade that the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus could get is the addition of a 48MP camera. Currently, 12MP sensors are available in iPhone models. In 2023 iPhones, the company can also bring a Lightning port.
