The journey to Japan will become easier for Indians planning to visit Japan. There are reports that Japan has formally started the E-Visa system. However, not only in India, there is a possibility that passengers from about 90 countries, including Australia and Brazil, will benefit from this.

This single-entry visa will give travellers up to 90 days of validity. It is said that it has been specially designed for travellers who are ordinary passport holders and are planning to reach Japan by air. Applicants will be able to obtain visas through Japan’s e-Visa systems.

Many countries, including Australia, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, Britain, and America, can use Japan’s new eVisa.

How To Apply

According to media reports, to get an e-visa, one has to visit the official website of Japan e-Visa. After this, choose the visa that best suits your travel schedule and submit the relevant documents. Apart from the documents, necessary information will have to be provided to the portal.

Information about visa fees will reach the traveller through email. An e-visa will be issued after payment. However, an individual may also be asked to appear in person during the application process.
