UAE Becomes First Muslim Country to Support Israel in Gaza Conflict

At present, there is a fierce war going on between the extremist group Hamas and Israel. During this period, about 1,200 people have died from both sides, and thousands have also been injured. In this war, many countries have come forward in support of their respective partners. Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates, i.e. UAE, became the first Muslim country to support Israel.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has described Hamas’ attacks on Israel as serious. According to a statement issued by the UAE Foreign Ministry, they are shocked by the reports of Israeli citizens being taken hostage from their homes. Earlier, countries like America, the UK, Germany and India had shown their support for Israel.

Iran Praised Hamas Attack

Hamas fighters fired 5,000 rockets at Israel on Saturday, October 7. After this, Israel declared war, after which 413 people of Hamas and more than 700 people of Israel died. This attack created a stir all over the world. During this period, many countries came forward in support of their respective friendly countries.

On one hand, Iran praised the Hamas attack and even celebrated it. At the same time, Pakistan also came together to support the Palestinians. However, the UAE has become the first Muslim country from Israel’s side to come forward in support of Israel.

Solidarity In Support Of Israel

Showing solidarity in support of Israel, many countries painted their country’s famous buildings in the colours of the Israeli flag. In this, UK PM Rishi Sunak painted his official residence with the Israeli flag. The Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Germany, was painted blue yesterday. America’s Empire State Building was also drenched in blue and white colours.
