Amidst the continuously increasing demand for electric cars in the Indian auto market, many new products are ready to be launched. The country’s popular car manufacturing companies like Tata, Mahindra and Hyundai will launch new EVs shortly. Come, let us know about them.
Maruti Suzuki eVX
The Maruti Suzuki eVX will debut later this year and spawn a Toyota sibling in early 2025. The mid-size electric SUV will likely have dual batteries and an FWD/AWD configuration, and the claimed range is expected to be more than 500 km.
Mahindra XUV3OO EV
Along with the Mahindra XUV3OO facelift, it is also expected that its electric version will also be introduced. It will directly compete with Tata Nexon.ev in the Indian market. XUV 300 EV will be a big player in Mahindra’s plans. Not much is known about it, but we expect it to have the same drivetrain as the Mahindra XUV4OO. The prices are also going to be very competitive.
Hyundai Exter EV
Like Tata, Hyundai is also ready to introduce ICE engine cars in an EV avatar in the Indian market. A possible testing model of the Exter EV has been spotted right after the launch of the Exter ICE.
Hyundai is working on the Casper EV in South Korea, and we can expect similar specifications for the Exeter EV. It can be given a 40kWh battery pack ranging from 300 km to 350 km. We can expect the launch of the Exeter EV in the next two years.
