While giving information about its business plan, Bengaluru-based EV maker Ather Energy has said that the company will launch its flagship scooter 450X in the international market, starting from the neighbouring country Nepal, which will be in partnership with Nepal-based Vaidya Energy. The first setup of the company will be opened in Kathmandu in November.
Ather Energy’s Entry In Nepal
Under this partnership, Vaidya Energy will take over the sales and service of Ather Energy products in Nepal. Along with this, Ather will establish grids and install fast charging stations to free customers from the worry of charging EVs.
Potential Price
However, the company has not yet disclosed the price of the scooter in Nepal. But its price is expected to be around Rs 4 lakh ex-showroom.
Ather 450X Power Pack, Features, Range and Top Speed
The company sells this electric scooter with 2.9kWh and 3.7kWh options. A 7-inch TFT touchscreen cluster has park assist, auto hold, fall safe, and Google map features. Talking about its range, the company claims a range of up to 146 km on a single charge. This scooter is capable of speeding at a speed of 90 kmph.
