According to reports, Mahindra will soon expand its Electric SUV portfolio. According to the information, the company can launch two SUVs in this segment. Currently, only one Electric SUV is offered in the company’s portfolio. The company provides the Mahindra XUV 400 EV in the compact SUV segment.

This Electric SUV Will Come In The Compact Segment

According to the information, the company plans to launch the Electric version of Mahindra XUV 3XO. It can be positioned below the XUV 400. Its testing is currently ongoing, and its codename is S240. It can be given a battery of 35 kWh capacity. Apart from this, many great features like a panoramic sunroof and XUV 3XO can be found there. Its possible price can be between Rs 12 to 17 lakh, and its production can be started by November.

This EV Will Come In The Mid Segment

The company plans to bring an Electric SUV into the mid-size and compact SUV segments. The company can get a new EV on the new INGLO platform, like the XUV 700, which can be named XUV.e8. This SUV can be brought by the end of the year or early next year. Like the XUV 700, it can also have many great features, including a panoramic sunroof, ADAS, a two-spoke steering wheel, a 12.3-inch infotainment system and a 60 kWh to 80 kWh battery, which can give it a range of about 450 to 500 km. Its ex-showroom price can be around Rs 25 to 30 lakh.
